Situated on Palace Hill, the hotel is up 12 steps, so is not suitable for disabled, though we do have a ground floor bedroom as well as family rooms. We are only 5 minutes from the Scarborough Town centre and close to the train station and all the entertainment in Scarborough you could want! A family run hotel by Trevor & Allison who offer their guests a warm and friendly welcome, who also have 8 years experience in Bed and Breakfast in Scarborough as they also run The Lord Nelson Hotel on the Scarborough Sea Front, opposite the RNLI Life Boat House. The old town is full of listed and old buildings which do not always lend themselves to en-suite facilities, especially near the near front, so The Palace Hill Hotel is a rare find with ALL rooms being en-suite & full central heating. Whether you are looking for a weekend break in Yorkshire, family beach holiday, or Golf courses, theatre breaks, Scarborough spa, bars or restaurants all are close by to our hotel. We are perfectly situated for Fishing trips, walkers & hikers, shoppers, theatre goers and beach lovers! There is a No Smoking policy throughout the hotel (there is a smoking area outside).
